Further increasing rumors about the next generation of consoles, a supposed Microsoft document points to the production of an "Xbox 720" with new accessories like the "Kinect 2" and something called "Kinect Glasses". The main novelty of this leak, however, is the quote that the next Xbox would be released with the suggested retail price of $ 299 (about R$ 600 in Brazil), scheduled to hit stores in 2013.

 The archive of more than 50 pages appears to have been produced in August 2010, but only now became public, discovered by NeoGAF forum users. Although seemingly obsolete, the document makes references to products that Microsoft announced this month, as the application SmartGlass, a menu more efficient current Xbox 360 and Xbox TV service application.

Other alleged news for the next console would support Blu-Ray, Sony's media use in the PlayStation 3, as well as 3D and native support for additional sensors as other peripherals. The processing power would be six times larger than the current Xbox and all its games would have minimal resolution set to 1080p. The new device would also be compatible with the old Xbox 360 games online.

According to the document, Microsoft would plan to publicize the island as "the only cash you have in the living room", referring to the dozens of possibilities that the supposed video game can offer - from games, TV shows and other types of already embedded in the entertainment package. Not by chance, the Xbox 720 images that appear on the document resemble a simple device for TVs, like a DVD player, no one wants to look like some recent videogame. The price of the device include a Kinect 2 already in the package.

Kinect 2 may be the successor to the current Kinect and bring improvements such as better voice capture, capture stereo sound, support for up to four simultaneous players, improved camera and dedicated processing. Yet another accessory mentioned is something called "Kinect Glasses," or "Project Fortress". Without great descriptive, is mentioned only that this may be an accessory augmented reality with Wi-Fi connections and 4G, and he will have connectivity with the Kinect. The launch of this second unit would be scheduled for 2014.

Remember that the Kinect was designed and planned by a Brazilian, Alex Kipman, who works at Microsoft. Because of this, the initial name of the device was "Project Natal", referring to the capital of Rio Grande do Norte. The name "Project Fortress" would be a possible reference to the capital of Ceará.

For now, all the details are just mere rumors. Microsoft has shown no interest in showing their next generation consoles at E3 last edition of the fair. It remains to wait and see what the future holds.
