After announcing that the Xbox 360 has reached a surprising amount of 750 thousand units sold in the last weekend of Black Friday - the amount that surpassed even the expectations of the company - Microsoft is planning to sell the new generation console for the same period last year.
Commonly dubbed the Xbox 720 (besides possessing, rumored codename Durango), the new console is expected for sales of Thanksgiving and Christmas 2013. This information was passed to the Bloomberg site by people close to Microsoft's plans, and the rumor is already being widely circulated on the Internet.
According to the site, the people who leaked the plans as at the time of launch of the new Xbox not to be identified because the information is confidential product. Also according to rumors, Microsoft has not decided whether to reveal the Xbox 720 at an industry event - such as E3, scheduled for June - or in a separate event, dedicated exclusively to the machine.
